How to Check Your Pay Stub Withholdings

Don’t get caught off guard with too little withholdings from your paycheck come tax time.  It happens so many times.  Utilize the IRS tool, or any paycheck withholding calculator to make sure your withholdings are correct.  It can happen that even though you have given the correct information on a W-4 form, the HR department enters it in wrong.  It happens!  The only way to make sure is to check your withholdings especially when you first start a new job.  Your first pay stub should be reviewed to make sure everything is correct.  Mistakes happens and then it’s too late by the time you realize.
